Dividend Reinvestment Plan

The Computershare CIP (“CIP”), offered by our transfer agent Computershare Trust Company, N.A., provides you the opportunity to invest quarterly cash dividends in additional shares of Hormel Foods common stock without incurring brokerage charges.

Participation in dividend reinvestment is entirely voluntary and, subject to the terms and conditions of the CIP, you may join or withdraw at any time.

If you do not already own stock, it will be necessary to make an initial purchase of stock through a broker. It can be for as little as one share and should be issued in your name (not held by the broker). Your broker can provide you with the details regarding the transfer process.

If you elect to participate in dividend reinvestment through the CIP, your quarterly dividends will automatically be used to purchase additional shares of Hormel Foods common stock for your account. Dividend payments are made quarterly, around the 15th day of February, May, August and November.

You may increase your purchases occasionally or on a monthly basis with your own additional cash contribution. Hormel Foods Corporation will pay brokerage charges associated with any purchases made under the CIP.

You may access the CIP brochure and supplement at www‐us.computershare.com/Investor to review details of the CIP, including fees. You may also call Computershare at 1‐877‐536‐3599 to request a copy of the CIP brochure and supplement.
